As I was putting Puplet to sleep the other night and trying to stay awake myself (he's in this phase where it takes awhile and it's so dark and warm in the room), I was thinking about Prison Break, as you do, and the finale and how we ( cut for spoilers for a show you will probably never watch if you haven't seen it by now )

I didn't realize how much I would love the characters in comics. Babs is MY FAVORITE EVER EVER EVER, but I also have MUCH LOVE for Dinah and Helena and DICK so far, too. (Babs/Dick OTP!!!1!) The Rules of Parenting (Modern Family) - Super funny and touching and a stellar use on dialogue.

O Death (The Book of Eli) - Holy crap this is fantastic. Gorgeously done and so moody. Wonderful use of a great song.

It's a really good representation of a D's concert - fun banter, great live takes on songs, and a nice selection of older songs intermixed with newer stuff. I have listened to the new Decemberists' album all the way through twice, and while it doesn't have the pop radio quality of Picaresque, you can see how they've made the transition from that through Crane Wife to this.
